Each month I host a free 'Journaling for well-being' workshop. It's 30 minutes of support and inspiration for your journaling practice. We focus on two techniques:

1 - Wild writing, a free-style journaling method.

2 - Utilising guided prompts around a particular theme.

The theme for the session was 'time to reflect'.

As the year comes to a close, it’s natural to look back not just on what we accomplished, but on how you moved through it all.

2025 was full of change, growth and lots of lessons. Some experiences may have filled you with light, purpose, and energy, while others may have quietly drained or left you feeling stretched thin. Taking the time to pause and notice these patterns helps us carry forward what truly nourishes us and gently release what doesn’t.

Today was the final journaling workshop of 2025 and I have thoroughly loved journaling with you all this year. Today we reflected briefly on the year gone by using these gentle prompts:

  • What do you look back over 2025 and feel most aligned with?

  • What moments stand out that made you smile?

  • What challenge have you overcome?

  • What habits, roles, or beliefs are you ready to release before entering 2026?

  • How would you like to begin 2026?

This is not about setting resolutions, it’s about deep renewal and intention. By tuning into how this past year felt, you can enter 2026 with clarity, gratitude, and a sense of grounded intention.

Thank you for joining me over the last 12 months and I hope to see you again for continued reflection and journaling in 2026.

Why not save this post or share with a friend who you think may find these prompts useful.
