The art of feedback
Feedback can be a gift, yet many of us shudder at the thought of giving or receiving it.
workshop details
Feedback can be a gift - yet many of us shudder at the word ‘feedback’ when it comes to receiving it AND offering it. This workshop focuses on strengthening your confidence and skill in both giving meaningful feedback and receiving it with openness and grace. We will explore feedback as a powerful tool for growth, collaboration and improvement. You will reflect on how thoughtful, well-timed feedback can build trust, elevate performance, and create a culture where learning is normalised rather than feared. You will learn that the ability to receive feedback is just as important as delivering it, and often the greatest driver of personal and professional development. We will cover: > Why feedback matters Feedback provides clarity, reveals blind spots, and accelerates learning. When exchanged respectfully, it strengthens relationships and cultivates a shared commitment to excellence. > Giving valuable feedback Practice using clear, specific, and balanced language that focuses on behaviour and impact rather than personal judgment. > Framework Gain frameworks for giving and receiving feedback which helps stay grounded, ask questions, evaluate what is useful, and respond with professionalism rather than defensiveness. You will leave with practical tools you can apply immediately, feeling more confident in your ability to offer feedback that supports growth, and equally prepared to receive feedback in a way that builds resilience, trust, and continuous learning. Tuesday 7th April 12pm-1pm, on Zoom.
For online workshops, a minimum of 5 participants per session is required for the workshop to go ahead.
