What is going well for you?

Updated: Jun 26, 2020

Finding something wrong with life is often easier than finding something that is going well. It is easy to jump on the things we haven’t yet done, the aspects of life that are not going the way we want or to constantly chase the next thing. This is draining on your emotions, your energy and your time.

Daily struggles, niggles and life admin grinds us down. But I have a challenge for you...next time you find yourself focusing on what is wrong with life, try instead to refocus on what is going right. Look at what you have achieved that day, that week, that month, that year. And all the years preceding. No matter how big or small (yes, getting out of bed and getting dressed is sometimes an achievement). Look how far you have come.

When things seem tough, and you feel like the world 🌍 is against you, this is the exact time to dig deep. Remember everything that is working for you, list all you have done, reach out to all the loved ones around you. This will help during that hard time. You will gain strength 💪 and positivity when you recall how strong you are and remind yourself of your inner determination, skills and abilities. You are amazing!
