Journaling prompts: spring awakening

Each month I host a free 'Journaling for well-being' workshop. It's 30 minutes of support and inspiration for your journaling practice. We focus on two techniques:
1 - Wild writing, a free-style journaling method.
2 - Utilising guided prompts around a particular theme.
The theme for the session was 'spring awakening'.
It may not seem like it but if we look closely, there are signs of spring starting to pop up all around us. The slow awakening of a new season is taking shape, moving from winter stillness into the gentle energy of growth.
We acknowledged this in this morning’s journaling workshop (and thank you to everyone who came). We paused, reflected for long enough to make a space for what we would like to welcome in as spring begins to unfold.
With this, we’re not rushing or jolting into a new pace, we’re getting ready for what is ready to emerge, what we’re outgrowing, and what seeds we want to nurture in the upcoming weeks.
You too may reflect on:
What do you love about spring? What signs of spring have you noticed around you?
What lessons would you like to take from nature at this time of year?
What would you like to shine the increasing light on to?
What will you leave buried in winter?
How might you begin to take up space, unfurl and grow out from the darkness?
As you move through the coming weeks, may you carry that sense of renewal with you. Let your growth be steady, your beginnings be kind, and your energy follow what feels most alive.
What has been awakening for you this spring? 🌸

Next month, my free journaling workshop takes place on 6th March and is focused on the theme of cultivating everyday joy. You can register here.
