workshop details

Stress is having an increasingly worrying impact on our health and well-being. Stress, anxiety and depression are the number one of cause of sick days taken from work, costing UK companies tens of £billions. The Health and Safety Executive defines stress as ‘the adverse reaction people have to excessive pressures or other types of demand placed on them’ and can be both work and non-work related. How stress manifests will be different for everyone and can often be mistaken for something else entirely - with different psychological, physical or behavioural signs presenting themselves. It is important that you can identify when you are stressed to spot the signs early and take action. Prolonged periods of stress takes a huge toll on your health but also on your family, work and lifestyle. This workshop will provide you with valuable insights and practical tools to enhance your resilience at work. You will have space to understand your own resilience levels, learn how to create and communicate healthy boundaries, and develop a positive mindset when obstacles come your way - which inevitably they will. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to: 1. Identify models for resilience building and identify your own triggers to stress 2. Recognise your personal needs and how these impact your levels of resilience at work 3. Define your own boundary requirements and confidently communicate these to others 4. Create strategies to build resilience and to share ideas and support with others 5. Clearly describe steps to increasing and maintaining your resilience with your own resilience ‘tool kit’ This workshop is for anyone who: > Wants to manage stress more effectively > Feels under pressure and wants to take time and space to reflect on their resilience > Seeks to foster resilience within their team By participating in this workshop, you'll gain the tools to build resilience, set healthy boundaries, and contribute to a more resilient and successful work environment. Once you have booked your place, you will receive final details and full confirmation.

For online workshops, a minimum of 5 participants per session is required for the workshop to go ahead.
